We’re a family-run independent bookshop in Skircoat Green, Halifax, specialising in children’s books, with a great range of adult titles too. Formerly The Thoughtful Spot.

Join us for free weekly storytimes, author events and book clubs, or pop in for a friendly recommendation. We also work with schools across Halifax and Calderdale, offering book fairs, author visits, subscriptions and webinars.
